Motivation : The best way to use your social capital - Pastor Poju Oyemade

Social capital which is Google defined as a networks of relationships among people who live and work in a particular society, enabling that society to function effectively.

The importance of the effective use of social capital was emphasized by Pastor Poju Oyemade in a Facebook post.

Pastor Poju wrote:

" One of the most powerful seeds you can sow is to stand with people when they are in trouble. To sacrifice some of your social capital to get someone out of a mess.

Relationships are covenants, proven by sacrifice. They will be tested. You cannot afford to be an opportunist only identifying when the all is going good, using others platforms for visibility."

Borno State Gov't to pay WAEC fees

Borno state government is planning to pay the registration fees of the WAEC and NECO examinations for the Senior Secondary School Students, who are graduating later this year, the Commissioner for Education, Barrister Isa Buratai has said. He said in order to reduce the hardship being experienced by parents of the studens, who are mostly farmers and their means of living has been shattered by insurgence The Commissioner, who spoke during a courtesy call paid on him at his office by the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Borno state chapter, said parents may however be asked to pay 25% of the total cost of the registration fees
