They disscused ways in which the 8th senate and bussinesses can partner to strengthen the Nigerian economy and creat jobs in Nigeria.

Manchester united return to Champions league

Manchester united beat Club brugge 4:0 to securea place in the Champions league group stage for the first time since the David Moyes' reign. A Wayne Rooney hatrick and a goal from Ander Herrera sealed the win for them and gave them a 7:1 aggregate win haven won the first leg 3:1. This will be of great financial boost to them haven missed out on Champions league football last season.

Premier League weekend match Review

Chelsea were held to a 2:2 draw by swansea city while Manchester United got a 1:0 victory over Tottenham curtesy of a Kyle walker own goal. Norwich lost to crystal palace 3:1, Watford settled for a 2:2 draw while Aston villa and Leicester city both won by 1:0 and 4:2 respectively.

Three Students charged with murder over fire that killed three students in kenya school

Three students have been arrested and charged with murder following a fire that killed three students in the domitory of stephjoy secondary school. The initial death toll rose from two to three when Zachary Njoyoje, a student who was severely injured died while recieving treatmant at the Kenyatta Nation National hospital in Kenya.

This hippopotamus was caught by some farmers in Dadinkowa dam Gombe State today August 6th. According to Naziru Muktar who shared the photos online, the hippopotamus had been terrorizing some farmers in the community and they decided to hunt it down. Source  Linda ikeji's blog

Arsenal beat Chelsea 1:0

Arsenal have beaten Chelsea 1:0 to lift the Community shield for the second year in a row. A first half goal from Chamberlain secured the win for the gunners and handed Arsene wenger his first win over his bitter rival Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal will face Chelsea later today in the community shield match. The match is expected to be the talk of the town with Peter Cech expected to start against his former club after more than a decade of playing for them. Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina are expected not to feature given their extended brwaks after the Copa America. The bitter rivalry between Mourinho and Arsene Wenger is the factor that will make the match intruiging.
