A Joke on Home coming about Dr. Jude

A Man named Dr. Jude was a renowned Physician and he have left his
homeland for long to live in New york until he was called to give a
speech.
When he came, he arranged his papers for the speech on the pulpit but
they slid down, and as he bent down to pick them, he released a loub
fart which the microphone further amplified the loudness. He felt
embarrased but regained composure to deliver the speech.
After the speech, he did not return to his home for decades until when
his mother fell sick.
He made a reservation in a hotel under a false name, Smith and the
following conversation ensured between him and the Clerk.

Clerk: Is this your first visit here?

Smith: no, I was born here before something embarrasing made me leave.

Clerk: I believe that nothing embarassing is even remembered by others.

Smith: I doubt this is my case in this incident.

Clerk : Was the incident a Long time ago?

Smith: yes

Clerk: Was it Before or after "THE JUDE FART"?

Boko haram siezes lake Chad from Nigerian army

Niger’s army is fighting to recapture an island in Lake Chad after it was seized by hundreds of Boko Haram militants aboard motorised canoes, army sources said on Sunday. Boko Haram, hardline Islamists who want to establish a caliphate in the region, attacked the island of Karamga at dawn on Saturday, their second attempt to capture it since February, army and government sources said. Lake Chad’s islands, which lie in dense swampland, are an ideal base for mounting surprise attacks on the countries bordering the lake: Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria. “There were many (Niger soldiers) dead on Saturday, considerably more than in the first attack,” said one of the army sources, referring to a battle in February in which seven Niger soldiers died.

Jonathan assures Nigerians of Security

President Jonathan assured Nigerians yesterday that no town will ever be captured by Boko haram in Nigeria again. The president spoke in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, during his presidential campaign. He said "The federal government will resist any attempt by the Boko Haram terrorists to take control of any town or village within the country again". According to him, the federal government is committed to ending the insurgency and expressed happiness that the insurgents had been wiped out of the state. 'As I speak, I am so happy to announce that Yobe has been freed of Boko Haram as all territories earlier under the control of the sect members have been recaptured by our able troops and we will henceforth resist any attempt by the sect members or any group to take control of any territory again. 'It is unfortunate that our brothers and sisters have turned mad against us and have left us with these sad memories,'.
