Jonathan Administration's Achievement

As we prepare for the handing over ceremony between President Jonathan
an Gen. Buhari, we look at five out of many of the achievements The
Jonathan administration has made:
1. Promotion and practice or true democracy: This is the reason why he
is named the "Father of the new democracy of Nigeria".
2. Conduct of free and fair election
3. Guaranteeing of freedom of speech.
4. Becoming Africa's number one destination of foreign investors.
5. It is under the Jonathan administration that Nigeria rebased it's
GDP for the first time in over a decade to become the largest economy
in Africa.
This and many more are the things that the Jonathan administration has
done in Nigeria.

Niger’s army is fighting to recapture an island in Lake Chad after it was seized by hundreds of Boko Haram militants aboard motorised canoes, army sources said on Sunday. Boko Haram, hardline Islamists who want to establish a caliphate in the region, attacked the island of Karamga at dawn on Saturday, their second attempt to capture it since February, army and government sources said. Bollywood icon Irrfan Khan dies aged 54

Irrfan Khan, a veteran character actor in Bollywood movies and one of India's best-known actors in Hollywood, has died after being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection. He was 54 years old. Khan played the police in Millionaire” and the park executive Masrani in “Jurassic World.” He also appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the adventure fantasy “Life of Pi.” Khan was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and wrote that “I trust, I have surrendered,” in a heartfelt note after he broke the news of his battle with cancer. Khan won a number of film awards in India, including a 2012 Indian National Film Award for best actor for his performance in “Paan Singh Tomar,” a compelling tale of a seven-time national champion athlete who quit India’s armed forces to rule the Chambal ravines in central India. Khan received an Independent Spirit Award for supporting actor in 2006 for the Indian-American drama “The Namesake”
