Tottenham hotspur striker has fallen out with his mother after claiming ahe ia using witchcraft to ruin his career.Itchas been reported that his mother was kicked out of their house in Accra and that Adebayo kicked her out. But Adebayo said that she left at her own accord and they have not been talking ever since because she is trying to ruin his career using 'juju'. How can I talk to a mother who together with my sisters have been plotting juju against me? he told reporters. Adebayo's career has been very bad and Tottenham are set to sell him in January after a run if poor performances.

Boko haram siezes lake Chad from Nigerian army

Niger’s army is fighting to recapture an island in Lake Chad after it was seized by hundreds of Boko Haram militants aboard motorised canoes, army sources said on Sunday. Boko Haram, hardline Islamists who want to establish a caliphate in the region, attacked the island of Karamga at dawn on Saturday, their second attempt to capture it since February, army and government sources said. Lake Chad’s islands, which lie in dense swampland, are an ideal base for mounting surprise attacks on the countries bordering the lake: Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria. “There were many (Niger soldiers) dead on Saturday, considerably more than in the first attack,” said one of the army sources, referring to a battle in February in which seven Niger soldiers died.

Borno State Gov't to pay WAEC fees

Borno state government is planning to pay the registration fees of the WAEC and NECO examinations for the Senior Secondary School Students, who are graduating later this year, the Commissioner for Education, Barrister Isa Buratai has said. He said in order to reduce the hardship being experienced by parents of the studens, who are mostly farmers and their means of living has been shattered by insurgence The Commissioner, who spoke during a courtesy call paid on him at his office by the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Borno state chapter, said parents may however be asked to pay 25% of the total cost of the registration fees
