Saha backs Falcao to Silence critics

Former Manchester United Striker Louis Saha has Backed United's Forward Radamel Falcao to silence his critics.
The striker came on loan from Monaco last season but has just scored four goals in Nineteen apperances in all competitions.
Falcao's latest disappointing display came in United's 3-1 FA Cup fifth-round victory at Preston North End on Monday, with Louis Van gaal's side coming from a goal down to win after Falcao's 60th-minute withdrawal.
But, Saha - who played for United between 2004 and 2008 - has no doubt that Falcao can rediscover the kind of form that made him one of Europe's most-feared frontmen at Atlectico Madrid and Porto. Here is what he said=> read here

Niger’s army is fighting to recapture an island in Lake Chad after it was seized by hundreds of Boko Haram militants aboard motorised canoes, army sources said on Sunday. Boko Haram, hardline Islamists who want to establish a caliphate in the region, attacked the island of Karamga at dawn on Saturday, their second attempt to capture it since February, army and government sources said. Lake Chad’s islands, which lie in dense swampland, are an ideal base for mounting surprise attacks on the countries bordering the lake: Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria. “There were many (Niger soldiers) dead on Saturday, considerably more than in the first attack,” said one of the army sources, referring to a battle in February in which seven Niger soldiers died.

Bollywood icon Irrfan Khan dies aged 54

Irrfan Khan, a veteran character actor in Bollywood movies and one of India's best-known actors in Hollywood, has died after being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection. He was 54 years old. Khan played the police in Millionaire” and the park executive Masrani in “Jurassic World.” He also appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the adventure fantasy “Life of Pi.” Khan was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and wrote that “I trust, I have surrendered,” in a heartfelt note after he broke the news of his battle with cancer. Khan won a number of film awards in India, including a 2012 Indian National Film Award for best actor for his performance in “Paan Singh Tomar,” a compelling tale of a seven-time national champion athlete who quit India’s armed forces to rule the Chambal ravines in central India. Khan received an Independent Spirit Award for supporting actor in 2006 for the Indian-American drama “The Namesake”
