What a Clever Doctor

A doctor wrote on his new clinic: Any treatment is N 3000 and if we cannot treat, we will pay you N 5000.
 Wanting the N 5000 for himself, intelligent Dan came to the doc and said: I can’t feel any taste.
 The doc asked a nurse to give Dan a few drops of medicine from box 22.
 Upon taking the drops, Dan shouted “Oh STOP! it is urine!”
The doctor said “congratulations, your sense of taste is back now”.
 Akpos was very angry that he lost N 3000

He came back two weeks later determined to get N 5000.

The following conversation ensued between Dan and the doc:

Dan : I lost my memory.
Doctor: Nurse! Please give this man some drops of medicine from box 22.
 Dan : Wait doctor but that medicine is for sense of taste.
Doctor: Congratulations, your memory is back.

NAFDAC Destroys N500 m worth of Fake Drugs

Barely three months after the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) destroyed expired, adulterated and substandard items seized from Enugu, Ebon Paul  Orhii and his team  were in Awka the Anambra state capital for a similar assignment. This time unwholesome, fake and expired items estimated at almost N500 million were  seized from manufacturers, importers, traders and destroyed. He also noted that  a larger percentage of the fake and expired drugs   were willingly and voluntarily handed over by the traders. The NAFDAC boss and his team who were accompanied by security officials , while    commending the traders for opting to hand over expired and substandard products in their possession, disclosed that their visit was to destroy the items and thus ensure  they did not find their way  back into the markets.
