Boko Haram Bomb maker Arrsetad in Yobe

The man who was assumed to be behind the manufacture of explosives for Boko haram has been arrested. The man who was known as Ba'na was arrested in the Arikime area of Potiskum after several weeks of monitoring. The police officer who arrested the suspect said that Ba'na is in his mid thirties and has admitted to the making of the bomb. The officer who arrested the suspect did not want to be identified and he also said that the man has admitted to be the one who produced the bomb used in at least three sucide attacks and the car explosion outside the divisional police station.

Niger’s army is fighting to recapture an island in Lake Chad after it was seized by hundreds of Boko Haram militants aboard motorised canoes, army sources said on Sunday. Boko Haram, hardline Islamists who want to establish a caliphate in the region, attacked the island of Karamga at dawn on Saturday, their second attempt to capture it since February, army and government sources said. Bollywood icon Irrfan Khan dies aged 54

Irrfan Khan, a veteran character actor in Bollywood movies and one of India's best-known actors in Hollywood, has died after being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection. He was 54 years old. Khan played the police in Millionaire” and the park executive Masrani in “Jurassic World.” He also appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the adventure fantasy “Life of Pi.” Khan was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and wrote that “I trust, I have surrendered,” in a heartfelt note after he broke the news of his battle with cancer. Khan won a number of film awards in India, including a 2012 Indian National Film Award for best actor for his performance in “Paan Singh Tomar,” a compelling tale of a seven-time national champion athlete who quit India’s armed forces to rule the Chambal ravines in central India. Khan received an Independent Spirit Award for supporting actor in 2006 for the Indian-American drama “The Namesake”
