Era of Millitary is over - Badeh

The chief defence staff (CDS), Air Marshal Alex Badeh has assured
Nigerians that the Millitary will not take over Nigeria.
" The era of millitary is gone forever and ever in this Country. In
fact if there was Millitary rule I am not sure if I could have been
here. We are the armed Forces of Nigeria and not that of any Political
party and will not be subordinate to the Constituted authority"; Badeh
said.
Gen. Abdulsalami who spoke earlier gave the Nigerian security a pass
mark for providing absolute security for the conduction of free and
fair election.
