Obamas bid to save illegal Imigrants from deportation has been blocked
US President, Barack Obama's plan to protect millions of illegal immigrants from deportation has been temporarily blocked by a Federal judge in Texas.
Obama issued two executive orders on November 21, 2014, in a bid to reform the country’s immigration system which he said had “been broken for a very long time.”
However, Judge Andrew Hanen
on Monday, February 16, ruled for a temporary stay on Obama’s plans
after a suit challenging the executive orders was filed by 26 states.
